Serving over 17,000 patients a year in a facility designed to serve 8,000, the Greater Hudson Valley Family Health Center has undertaken a $14 million capital project to build a new primary care facility in Newburgh, NY. For over 40 years, the Family Health Center has provided high-quality medical and dental care to persons in all kinds of financial circumstances, and has been the only facility in the region serving persons who are uninsured or underinsured.
Outstanding health care is delivered with dignity and respect, and transcends barriers of cost, access and language.
With the nation’s health care system in crisis, the new Health Center offers a local solution to the crisis. The new facility will make it possible to triple the number of people in the counties of the greater Hudson Valley who have access to quality primary and preventive health care. The facility will dramatically improve the health---and secure the future--of the entire community.
Innovative Resources serves as campaign counsel, positioning the Health Center campaign as an integral part of the region's economic development renaissance. The firm has created a theme for the campaign, "Your Gift of Health," which applies to the Health Center's mission and is used for all of its marketing purposes. Innovative Resources writes and designs other Health Center publications.
To date, major contributions have been received from the Kaplan Family Foundation, and 100 percent support from the community-based board of directors and senior staff. The capital project financing is a collaboration of local, regional and national financial institutions – TD Bank, CPC (The Community Preservation Corporation), and Orange County Trust Company.
