Innovative Resources Group has provided counsel to Richard Tantillo, Vice President of Communications and Development and his key staff, in the important time period immediately following the successful completion of it’s $183 million comprehensive campaign and continues providing counsel as the College prepares to develop plans for it’s next major fundraising initiative.

In addition, the firm’s extensive experience in Annual Giving is serving the College well as we continue to provide interim services for the Office of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations. In addition to personnel supervision, Innovative Resources is providing key strategic counsel with the design and implementation of fundraising strategies; management reports to support those efforts; the recruitment, management, and stewardship of Hamilton’s extensive volunteer corps; the creation of key messaging strategies; assisting in the writing of key print and electronic communications; and other critical efforts in support of the College’s $6 million Annual Fund efforts.

Counsel has been providing strategic oversight and support for the College’s exceptional regional events and activities that engage more than 6,000 alumni and friends annually throughout the country, Hamilton’s Alumni Relations professionals support an all-volunteer 245 member Alumni Council; key weekend programs throughout the year that bring back alumni and friends to the campus for institutional immersion, recognition, and life-long learning; and a signature Reunion Weekend that annually welcomes back to campus more than 1,200 alumni and their families.

Hamilton College is the third oldest college in New York State, and is named after Alexander Hamilton, U.S. statesman and first Secretary of the U.S. Treasury. A prestigious liberal arts college with an emphasis on individualized instruction and independent research, Hamilton College is a national leader in teaching effective writing and persuasive speaking.

The College, chartered in 1812, will celebrate its 200th anniversary in 2012.

  • Innovative Resources Group was retained by the Challenger Board to advise on the campaign and to bring the Center to the Schenectady Museum. Innovative Resources recommended taking a new approach by repositioning Challenger on the lines of a business model, rather than depending on campaign success for individual, corporate and civic contributions.
