Samaritan Counseling Center is the largest, nonprofit, interfaith counseling practice in the Capital Region. As the only available and affordable place to turn, the Center is a mental health safety net for the region's neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, and congregations, serving 14,000 persons a year - a number that continues to grow.

Since 1985, the Center has offered professional counseling services to the uninsured and underinsured and people in varying financial circumstances.

One of Samaritan's most valuable programs is project PASS, a counseling program for students at risk of failing school. Samaritan therapists work devotedly with students on their emotional and behavioral problems, and they establish specific goals aimed at meeting grade level requirements. Since most counseling services are not funded by insurance or government dollars, the Center must raise funds and has established a "Silent Samaritan" program for this purpose.

Innovative Resources Group was retained to help raise awareness of the organization by building and involving a network of prominent citizens from all cross sections of the community. Innovative Resources came up with a concept, design and text for a targeted piece to promote the Silent Samaritan Fund and the tagline helping those most at risk heal, function and live life more fully.
